In 2010 Chint founded its subsidiary in Spain: Chint Electrics. The company is located in Las Rozas (Madrid) and has around 30 employees, which are distributed in Spain and Portugal to provide a close service to customers.

Initially focused on the low voltage sector, over the last few years it has begun to develop projects in other industrial sectors such as photovoltaic or medium and high voltage through T&D projects.

Founded in 1984, CHINT is a leading global provider of smart energy solutions, focusing mainly on four sectors: "Smart Electricity", "Green Energy", "Industrial Automation and Control" and "Smart Homes", integrated together in a chain of "power generation, storage, transmission, substation, distribution, sales and consumption".


It has an extensive global network that allows it to develop its activity in more than 140 countries and regions. It employs more than 30,000 people and has annual sales of more than US$11 billion.


The CHINT Group has been ranked among China's top 500 companies for 18 consecutive years. Within the group, its subsidiary, CHINT Electrics, is the first company in China in the listed low-voltage market and ranks among the top 50 listed companies in Asia.


Among the main brands of the Chint Group, each dedicated to different markets or solutions, it is worth mentioning Chint, Noark, Chint Power, Chint T&D or Astronergy.
