Aeon Labs Intelligent Energy Consumption Monitoring Clamps is a low cost electric consumption meter for the home or office. It can wirelessly report the instantaneous use of watts and kWh and send the information to the home automation controller and can be easily installed. Installed in a register box or electrical box, the energy meter will control the total electricity consumption used by an entire building, plants or circuits. The smart clamp will report when the power usage returns to a control point, in watts or kilowatt-hours, and in real time. So you can see how much electricity you actually use and when you use it. The home automation controller will be able to present the information stored to you over time in the form of graphs, depending on what the home automation controller with which it works is able to do ....

The main body is anchored using a back support. The device is powered from a normal AC power source. The device has a clamp and reports W and kWH (up to 60 Amps).

Easy to install, wirelessly informs the energy consumption of the whole house to a domotic controller based on Z-Wave: watts and kW / h. It is connected to the electrical panel of the home or business to control all its electrical consumption, even in real time. Therefore it is a perfect tool to know how much electricity is consumed and when.

This device works through Z-Wave protocol, and there are variants of this same equipment with more or less clamps (depending on what you want to control) and different amperage limits. It allows to know in real time the consumption of one or several phases of a switchboard or electrical circuit, and is a very useful tool to collect readings or more or less constant studies to installers or energy managers, because it allows to reach conclusions quickly and be able to take measures to reduce energy expenditure in electricity.
