More info

The smallest Z-Wave dry contact relay in the world

The Qubino Flush 1D relay is ideal as a dry contact switch for lights, fans, ovens, washing machines, irons, sockets, garage doors, electric radiators, water heaters, etc. The output contact is voltage-free (dry contact). Different loads can be connected to the module. It also supports the connection of a digital temperature sensor.

As the output contact is voltage free (dry contact), loads with different voltages and / or power supplies can be connected to the module.

It is a micromodule that allows us to use its relay both with 230V current and 12 or 24V, and even as a dry contact because the relay circuit is independent (electrically isolated). We remind you that previously for dry contact we had the Fibaro 1 × 2,5kW module that has been replaced by the "Single Relay" but that the latter no longer allows to be used as a dry contact, so this module of Qubino becomes even more interesting if it fits. (September 2016).

What is it for?

The Qubino Flush 1D is ideal for home automation control of electrical appliances such as lights, fans, ovens, washing machines, irons, sockets, garage doors, electric radiators, water heaters and the like.

The smallest Z-Wave dry contact relay

The Z-Wave dry contact relay Qubino Flush 1D is a micromodule that occupies less space than any other module with which it is compared to any other competitor and will fit easily into any conventional mechanism box.

Energy consumption

The Z-Wave Qubino Flush 1D dry contact relay , when it is in standby, only consumes 0.4 W. Awesome!

Very versatile

The Qubino Flush 1D , dry contact relay, can operate over a wide range of temperatures from cold -10ÚC to suffocating 40ÚC (14Ú 104ÚF). It supports the connection of a digital temperature sensor, which is also useful for creating complex scenarios. Each module also acts as a repeater in order to improve the range and stability of the Z-Wave network.

The simplest installation

The extremely small size and a specially designed housing mean that the connection of the module inside a recessed mounting box is simple. The installation process, tested and approved by professional electricians , consists of only three simple steps:

1 - Remove the switches from the box and disconnect the cables.
2 - Connect the cables to the Qubino module and insert them into the box.
3 - Fix the switches to the box.

The most proven and reliable Z-Wave modules

Qubino's Z-Wave modules are install-and-forget products. The Qubino products that we offer, are manufactured to last, so they only use electronic components that meet the most demanding levels of quality. Our modules are also the most tested Z-Wave micromodules on the market. The Slovenian Institute of Quality and Measurement (SIQ), an independent European entity, checks the quality of the actual parameters of our products, including temperature increases, manufacturing, insulation resistance, electrical consumption and overloads according to European standards of the highest quality according to the specification of standard EN 60669-2-1.

Additional parameters for professionals.

The Qubino Flush 1D micromodule   It has 11 additional parameters for its use by experts. Some of the most useful are:

  • Adjustment of the mono-stable type (pulsator) or bi-stable
  • Activate or deactivate the ALL ON / ALL OFF functions
  • Automatic on / off output after set time

Additional functionalities allow for smarter housing and offices.

The module can be used as an extension for the control of the heating / cooling system. The module has the option of connecting a digital temperature sensor.

The Qubino Flush 1D is a module also used for scenes and trigger execution and increase comfort and safety with additional sensors. The Qubino Flush 1D Relay relay has two free binary inputs.

Option 1: 1 additional relay + 1 push buttons for scenarios
Option 2: 1 additional relay + 2 push buttons for landscapes and temperature sensor
This interesting device when used as a dry contact relay, Qubino Flush 1D allows you to use it as a device to "trigger" closures of circuits or beats in other equipment or devices, which will allow us to use them as if they were Z-Wave, such as:
- PSTN telephone dialers
- GSM telephone dialers
- Intrusion alarm panels with wired or dry contact inputs
- Relays or electric actuators with higher loads

Inclusion
Module Inclusion (Adding to Z-wave network)

• Connect module to power supply (with

temperature sensor connected - if purchased),

• auto-inclusion (works for about 5 seconds after connected to power supply) or

• press service button S for more than 2 second or

• press push button I1 three times within 3s (3 times change switch state within 3 seconds).

NOTE: When connecting temperature sensor to module that has already been included, you have to exclude module first. Connect the sensor and re-include the module.

Exclusion
Module Exclusion/Reset (Removing from Z-Wave network)

• Connect module to power supply

• bring module within maximum 1 meter (3 feet) of the main controller,

• enable add/remove mode on main controller

• press service button S for more than 6 second or

• press push button I1 five times within 3s (5 times change switch state within 3 seconds) in the first 60 seconds after the module is connected to the power supply.

By this function all parameters of the module are set to default values and own ID is deleted

If service button S is pressed more than 2 and less than 6 second module is excluded, but configuration parameters are not set to default values.

Factory Reset
Please use this procedure only in the event that your network primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.

If the service button S is pressed for more than 6 seconds the module will be reset to the factory defoult state.
