More info

The flood detector, Aeotec Water Sensor 7 is a flood sensor, a leak sensor and a security sensor in one device.

Leak detection. Leaks are the basis for expensive bills and damage when they show up where they shouldn't. Monitoring more than just the presence of liquid, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro lives up to its name by monitoring the absence of water. When used to monitor tanks or pits, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro can alert you when water levels are too low and trigger automation routines.

The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro not only monitors water leaks. Once connected to your Z-Wave automation system, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro can take protective measures to help limit the amount of damage caused by drips, leaks, breaks, or other water flows. For example, in the event of a pipe break, the smart device can command smart water valves, including those installed on the main pipe, to close automatically.

Heating management. The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro monitors room temperature to control and manage connected heating or cooling systems.

Air quality management. In addition to controlling the room temperature, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro measures the relative humidity of the room. With real-time humidity monitoring, the smart device can be used to automatically manage the air quality in a room, activating exhaust fans and humidifiers or dehumidifiers.
