Avoid water damage
A small leak can cost you thousands of dollars and countless sleepless nights. Now it's easier than ever to be smart about flooding in your home or office. Turn technology into peace of mind.
The water leak sensor will monitor the surface you place it on, so it's best to install them throughout your home. Start by placing one in the boiler room or bathroom. Ideally, it should cover most surfaces in case the leak shows up in the most unexpected place.
Program the device in your Z-Wave hub to receive SMS or email notifications as soon as a leak occurs. Add visual and audible alarms, such as security sirens, to your automation systems to receive local alerts. Finally, link your sensors to a smart water shut-off valve to minimize any damage.

Now, every time Zooz designs a new product, it tries to make it as unobtrusive as possible. Zooz was delighted to see the response from its beta testers, who couldn't believe how small this sensor was. It is only 0.8 cm thick and slips easily under cabinets, appliances and pipes.
Enjoy improved range with the new 700 Series Z-Wave chip for more reliable communication, even from the most remote corners of your home such as the attic or garage. The device is sealed and can withstand splashing water, but is not completely waterproof. It cannot be submerged in water or used to monitor the presence of water in pools or aquariums.

If you’re using an S2 hub, it will ask you to enter the DSK PIN or scan the QR code printed on the back cover sticker of the sensor to complete SmartStart inclusion.
While the hub is looking for new devices, click the Z-Wave button 3 times as quickly as possible. The LED indicator will start flashing to confirm inclusion mode and turn off once inclusion is completed.
2. Put the Z-Wave hub into exclusion mode (not sure how to do that? ask@getzooz.com).
3. Click the Z-Wave button 3 times as quickly as possible.
4. Your hub will confirm exclusion and the sensor will disappear from your controller's device list.
