With the new "skewer" Z-Wave USB 5th generation (Z-Wave PLUS) from Aeon Labs, your PC, portable, Barebone, Raspberry Pi etc. It can be converted into a Domotic Control Unit to make your home smart.
The control of the Z-Wave network is carried out via "Z-Wave Serial API" (according to the "Z-Wave Application Programmers Guide, INS10247"). Supports all Z-Wave compatible technology devices and networks.
The embedded button-push button and its battery allow it to be used as a "handheld" controller for the creation of Z-Wave networks remotely.
The USB feed, which is version 2.0 also allows recharging the battery
Compatible with Linux, Mac, Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10

It can be operated through software such as Homeseer, Indigo, Z-Way and Domoticz. When configured in a Z-Wave network, Z-Stick can potentially convert your personal computer into a Home Automation Control Unit for the automation or domotization of your home or business.
Note : Software is not delivered or included with this driver. It is necessary to use software suitable for PC, Linux or Mac such as Homeseer, Indigo, Domoticz, etc.

You can through one of the following ways to perform this function:
1.To be done through the host software which takes control of the Z-Stick USB adapter while the Z-Stick is in SerialAPIMode (If you don’t know how to do this, please consult the instruction manual of the host software to perform a
network reset).
2.Unplug the Z-Stick from the USB connector,Then press and hold down the Reset Button for 20 seconds.
