This is your comfort: take control

Considering thermal comfort, which aspects are the most important? Is it the general temperature of the room? Temperature of heating or cooling? Speed of conditioning and ventilation? Or maybe something else? Whatever the need, HELTUN guarantees that you take care of yourself.

Elegance

Powerful, efficient and well designed, HELTUN is the thinnest and most elegant thermostat on the market. With a crystalline glass panel, its recycled plastic housing resistant to fire and short circuited is only 9 mm thick.

Design

HELTUN adapts perfectly to your interior design and is available in 24 combinations: 4 frame colors (silver, chrome, white and black) and 6 types of glass (white, black, yellow, green, red, blue). You can choose any style that suits your taste.

Internal sensors

In addition to the temperature control sensors, the HELTUN thermostat also incorporates humidity and light sensors.

Additional sensors that help you save energy

When an electronic device performs its function, a certain amount of heat is generated. As a result, the ambient temperature is generally incorrectly reported with an accuracy of 1.5 to 2.0 degrees Celsius. HELTUN engineers have added two additional internal sensors that take into account the excess heat generated by the device itself, while a special compensation software calculates the ambient temperature with an incredible accuracy of 0.2 to 0.3 degrees Celsius.

Tickets and departures

The main power input is 100-250VAC. It has 5 relay outputs each with a maximum load of 5A.

The thermostat also has two independent inputs for the relay channels, which allows you to control systems with different energy sources or use outputs as dry contacts. For example, to turn on / off the 220 VAC light and control the motorized valve with a 24 VDC power supply.

Input 1 with the required power supply is for relay channels 1, 2 and 3, which can withstand loads up to 15A max.

Input 2 with the required power supply is for relay channels 4 and 5, which can withstand loads up to 10A max.

Know your energy consumption

Thanks to HELTUN's integrated power consumption logic, you can precisely control the amount of energy used each day, each week or each month for each channel.

Simply specify the wattage consumption for each retransmission channel and the special logic will calculate the total consumption based on the time elapsed when the output is in the ON state.

Controls

The touch buttons of the HELTUN thermostat are so sensitive that they react even before touching them physically, treating the action at a distance of 1 to 2 mm. The buttons are:

"SPEED" button to control the fan speed (cooling, heating or ventilation).
The "Mode" button quickly changes the operating mode of the thermostat (for example, switching to economy mode or comfort mode, etc.). Press and hold the Mode button to open the setup menu for up to 20 different configurations and thermostat settings.
"Time" button that allows you to quickly adjust the temperature for different times of the day.
"Climate" button: to select air conditioning mode: heating only, cooling only, heating and cooling, ventilation only
Keys "+" and "-" to adjust the temperature

LCD screen

The large LCD screen of the HELTUN thermostat displays all the necessary information simultaneously and, unlike many other models, does not require any additional commands to access it. There is instant access to the information of all sensors: room temperature, air humidity, current temperature setting, thermostat operating mode, climate mode, fan speed, date and time.

The automatic control of the brightness of the screen adapts perfectly to the conditions of ambient light, which facilitates the reading even in the dark.

Modes of Operation

The COM and ECO modes constantly maintain the set temperature. The user can easily change the set temperature for each mode. To do this, simply press the "mode" button to select the desired mode and use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired temperature.

The HOUR mode allows you to set a different temperature for the morning, day, afternoon and night periods for each day of the week.

Weather modes

In the heating and cooling mode, the thermostat will constantly maintain the desired temperature. If the ambient temperature of the room is higher than the set temperature, the unit switches to the cooling state. If the temperature of the room drops, the thermostat switches to the heating state.

Only in heating mode, the thermostat will switch to the heating state if the ambient temperature of the room is below the set temperature and it will go to the inactive state if the ambient temperature is higher than required.

Only in cooling mode, the thermostat will switch to the cooling state if the ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature and will enter the idle state if the ambient temperature is lower than required.

In Ventilation mode, the thermostat will only be ventilated.

TIME mode

Reduce energy consumption by up to 50% and help protect the environment by activating the HOUR mode. Adjust the temperature according to your habits, reducing it during your absence and increase at night and early in the morning.

On average, people spend around 12-14 hours a day at home. The rest of the time, the house is empty and requires only a minimum of heating. Consider 7/8 hours of sleep in the hours you spend at home, taking into account that the optimal temperature for sleeping is considered to be 18 degrees Celsius.

The thermostat can be adjusted individually for the time and temperature for morning, day, evening and night. For example, it can be assigned to Monday morning from 7:00, then to the temperature of the day starting at 9:00 (absent for work reasons, etc.), and then in the afternoon from the 18:00 (half an hour before the return). occupants). The nocturnal diet begins at 23:00 (bedtime).

You can have separate temperature settings for the 4 periods. But that's not all: the temperature can be programmed for each day of the week and weekends can be managed differently.

Heltun Fan Coil Zwave thermostat connection

Fan speed

The fan speed (heating, cooling or fan power) can be controlled manually or in automatic mode. There are 4 speed levels: off, low, medium, high.

In automatic mode, the thermostat logic will automatically select the speed level according to the desired temperature difference and the ambient temperature.

If the difference is less than 1.0 ° C, the thermostat will select the slow speed level.

If the difference is between 1.0 C and 2.0 C, the thermostat will select the average speed level.

If the difference is greater than 2.0 ° C, the thermostat will select the high speed level.

When the ambient temperature reaches the required temperature, the thermostat switches to the idle state (fan deactivated).

Heltun Fan Coil Zwave fan thermostat

Hysteresis

The hysteresis defines when the system should turn on / off the heating / cooling when the temperature changes. For example, if the desired temperature is 25 ° C and the hysteresis value is set to 0.5 degrees, heating is enabled when the ambient temperature drops to 24.5 ° C.

The higher the hysteresis value, the more energy will be saved, but at the same time the room temperature variations will be higher. The default value is 0.5 degrees.

Safe and protected

If the main power supply is cut off or disconnected, the internal memory is not erased. Once you have reactivated the device, all saved settings will be fully functional.

To prevent children from interfering with the setting of your thermostat, you can enable the child protection mode.

Z-Wave Plus S2 certificate

Connect your HELTUN devices to the home control system using the latest Z-Wave Plus secure chip with the new security framework 2 (S2) (AES 256 encryption method for data transfer).

The HELTUN thermostat is compatible with all Z-WAVE certified peripherals and controllers.

With the Z-Wave controller, you can manage all the functions of the thermostat through a mobile application, including the change of temperature and mode, see precise graphics of power consumption and more.

In addition, up to 10 separate devices can be connected to the thermostat. You can associate the Heltun thermostat with any on-off switch compatible with Z-Wave or other thermostat and control different climate systems in the room, or even connect motion sensors and adjust the mode change through the identification of the person and the general movement. inside the house

SENSORS REPORT TIME
Sensors consecutive reporting interval, minutes. When the device is connected to the Z-Wave gateway (controller), it periodically sends to the gateway reports from its room & floor temperature, humidity and light sensors even if there are not changes in the values. This Parameter defines the interval between consecutive reports. The value can be adjusted from 1 min to 120 min. Note: If the sensor readings change, the device will send the report to the gateway regardless of this parameter value. In order not to increase traffic on your network, it is not recommended to reduce the value of this parameter. We recommend to reduce the value of this parameter only in case of poor connection, when reports from the device does not always reach the gateway.

TEMP HYSTERESYS
This Parameter defines the hysteresis value for temperature control. The HE-FT01 will stabilize the temperature with the selected hysteresis. For example, if the SET POINT is set for 25°C and HYSTERESIS is set for 0.5°C, the HE-FT01 will change the state to IDLE if the temperature reaches 25.0°C. It will change the state to HEATING if the temperature becomes lower than 24.5°C, and will change the state to COOLING if the temperature rises beyond 25.5°C. The hysteresis value can be changed from 0.2°C to 10.0°C range in Celsius mode, and 0.3°F to 18.0°F in Fahrenheit. The factory-default value is 0.5°C (0.9°F).
