Heatit Z-TRM6 DC is an electronic thermostat with potential-free relay, designed for the control of boilers, heat pumps and actuators. The thermostat can be controlled via your Z-Wave network or via the buttons on the front. The thermostat has a user-friendly interface. The thermostat for boilers or systems that require a dry contact relay, can be controlled via your Z-Wave network or physically by the buttons on the front of the thermostat itself. The thermostat has a user-friendly interface. As it has a cool-heat mode, it is ideal for operating solenoid valves or actuators on underfloor heating/cooling water manifolds that do not run on 220V.
Heatit Z-TRM6 DC has 3 modes; Heat - Cool and Eco.
The thermostat fits standard European junction boxes and can be used with most System 55 frames. It has a robust metal frame for secure fixing in the junction box. The thermostat has an integrated room temperature sensor. Two additional external temperature sensors can also be connected.
The Heatit Z-TRM6 DC allows manual adjustment of the power measurement value.
The thermostat can be configured with multiple associations and can be used as a master thermostat. It can control up to 10 thermostats and 10 external relays, e.g. wall sockets.
How the Heatit Z-TRM6 Z-Wave Thermostat Regulates Temperature
The thermostat uses temperature readings obtained from the internal sensor and/or external wired sensors to regulate the temperature.
the temperature. The thermostat will regulate the temperature using hysteresis or PWM, based on the setpoint temperature.
To select "HYST" or "PWM", you can find the menu option "REG" or use parameter 13 "OPER".
When selecting regulation via Hysteresis
The hysteresis will switch the load on and off depending on the hysteresis value compared to the setpoint. You can make changes to the hysteresis of the thermostat. You can choose hysteresis values between 0.3°C and 3.0°C using parameter 14. The default setting for the default setting is 0.5°C. When water heating is used, we recommend a hysteresis of 1.0°C.
You can also change the hysteresis by entering the local settings menu and holding down the centre button for 2 seconds when "REG" is displayed. Here you can choose values between 0.3 and 3.0.
When PWM regulation is selected
With PWM regulation activated, the thermostat will regulate according to the duty cycles. The thermostat switches on and off in percentage intervals of the cycle. The amount of time the relay will be on is based on how far the measured temperature is from the set point.

KEY POINTS:
Dry contact - Special thermostat to control potential free connected loads.
Modes - The thermostat has 3 modes: Heat - Cool and Eco. Cool and Eco are new features.
Metal frame - The thermostat has a metal frame for secure mounting in the junction box, which increases the durability of the product in contrast to previous plastic solutions.
Associations - The thermostat can be configured with multiple associations and can be used as a master thermostat. It can control up to 10 thermostats and 10 external relays.
Power regulator - Heatit ZTRM-6 DC has a built-in power regulator as an alternative to temperature regulation.
Hysteresis - With hysteresis regulation activated, the thermostat will only regulate according to the temperature. The thermostat switches on and off depending on the hysteresis value in relation to the setpoint.
Pulse Width Modulation/PWM - With pulse width modulation control activated, the thermostat will regulate according to the cycles. The thermostat switches on and off in percentage intervals of the cycle.
Window open detection - With window open detection, the thermostat detects if a window is open, allowing it to cut off the heating when there is a rapid drop in temperature.
Manual power measurement - The thermostat has a manual power measurement that gives you an overview of the consumption in real time. The load size is set as a fixed value in the menu.
Push buttons - With a combination of push buttons and touch functionality, the thermostat is easier to use.
